Dental Office Manager
Dentologie dental group is seeking a talented Dental Office Manager for our River North practice! *The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience as a Dental Office Manager.
The Office Manager is responsible for providing patients with an extraordinary patient experience from start to finish. They also ensure successful day-to-day operations of their location. This includes oversight of all office staff, patient scheduling, and care, and meeting the expected financial performance of the office. As Office Manager you lead by example, acting as a role model of professionalism and positivity.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Professionally greet and communicate with patients (both written and verbal)
- Ability to effectively perform all functions of the Front Desk role.
- Support Front Desk staff; ensure day-to-day functions of Front Desk role are completed.
- Oversee patient schedule to make sure it is as productive/efficient as possible to maintain 80%+ utilization.
- Meet or exceed Monthly and Quarterly production goals (set individually per office).
- Maintain patient NPS of 72+.
- Track patient feedback, respond to patient concerns and patient reviews (NPS) accordingly.
- Ensure the office is appropriately staffed to meet operational needs - work with Team Leads and other Office Managers to coordinate staffing when needed.
- Complete daily RCM tasks which include claim creation, patient ledger audits and in office collections.
- Provide feedback to team to improve training protocols for new hires.
- Work with team leads of different departments to accurately assess the performance of new hires and provide feedback (Assistants, Hygiene).
- Oversee clinical cases needed from Dental Labs in collaboration with doctors and assistants. This includes crowns, dentures, Invisalign etc.
- DDS - Lead daily huddles for all office staff and update any DDS metrics accordingly.
- Central leadership to all teams within the office, providing support and guidance to resolve issues that impact patient care and office operations.
- Performance management of all clinical staff including attendance audits, reviews, feedback, and continuous improvement
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strongly Preferred: at least two years of dental practice management experience.
